Property demand in Cyprus

"Over the last three years demand for property has increased by an average of 15% to 20% per annum."

[FT World Report]

This is expected to continue for the foreseeable future, with increasing demand from, among others, the new affluent Russians, Greek Cypriots living abroad and the large growing British ex-pat community

Situated on the South West coast of Cyprus and sheltered from the North by the Troodos mountains, Paphos is undeniably one of the most beautiful locations of the Mediterranean.

Paphos is steeped in rich history and outstanding beauty and has earned its place on the UNESCO world heritage list of cultural and natural treasures. Since the goddess Aphrodite emerged from the seas, the Cypriot capital has become a site of exceptional architectural and historic value.

Paphos has a truly ancient history dating back thousands of years. The birthplace of Aphrodite, Paphos was the capital of Cyprus in Roman times and was an important trading hub between east and West.

With an all year round sunny climate, mountainous backdrops, stunning sunsets, rugged coastlines and quaint traditional villages, Paphos really is the jewel of the Mediterranean.

In fact, UNESCO has designated Paphos a World Cultural Heritage site and the Cyprus government have imposed strict regulations on any building within the area, guaranteeing the architectural heritage and timeless beauty of the area.

Travelling to Paphos could not be easier. Served by its own airport, which is also being completely rebuilt to increase capacity, and a modern network of roads and motorways, Paphos is within easy reach of all the major cities of the UK and Europe.
